The 2025 meetings of the Nashville Rose Society will be held at the Cheekwood Estate and Gardens or at the Ed Jones Auditorium in the Ellington Agriculture Center.
The Cheekwood Estate and Gardens is located at 1200 Forrest Park Dr, Nashville, Tennessee 37205. The meetings are free to guests, as is admission to Cheekwood for meetings. Simply tell the gate attendant that you are there for the Nashville Rose Society meeting.

The Nashville Rose Society 2025 Fall Grand Prix Rose Show will be held during the regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, September 8, 2025, in the Massey Auditorium of Botanic Hall / Visitor Services Building at Cheekwood Garden and Estate.
The purpose of the Grand Prix is to give members a chance to learn about and practice exhibiting roses. A grooming room will be open at 5:00 pm. Experienced exhibitors will be there to help anyone needing help grooming their roses. All you need to do is know the names of the roses you bring. This show is an excellent opportunity to learn how to enter your roses in the 2025 Music City Rose Show to be held at Cheekwood on Saturday, September 13, and the Tenarky District Fall Convention & Rose Show on Saturday, October 4, 2025 in Germantown, TN.

5:00pm-6:00pm Michael Zimmerman of Apple and Dove Cut Flower Farm, Gallatin TN – Step into the elegance of the Victorian era with our Floriography Class, where Mike shares the hidden language of flowers and demonstrates how to craft a bouquet rich with meaning.

The 2025 Music City Rose Show presented by the Nashville Rose Society will be held at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens – Massey Auditorium on Saturday, September 13 (1:00pm – 5:00pm), and Sunday, September 14 (11:00am – 4:00pm).
The rose preparation area at Massey Hall will open at 6 a.m. on Saturday. Horticulture entries will be placed on the exhibition tables by show personnel from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Challenge exhibits will be placed by the exhibitor. Judging will begin at 10:30 a.m.
The back gate opens at 6 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025. If you plan to enter the back gate 6-8 a.m., please contact Gene Meyer so your name will be on a list for the guard. The back gate is accessed off of Cheek Road. The front gate opens at 8 a.m.

The Rose Show will be open to the public from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Weekend Events are FREE to the Public (all in Massey Auditorium)
Saturday, September 13 at 2:30 p.m.- Seminar on the “Basics of Growing Roses”, presented by: Ron Daniels, ARS Master Rosarian and NRS Past President.
Following the seminar Ron will have a “Meet the Author & Book Signing” for his book Rose Therapy.

The Memphis Rose Society is thrilled to host the 2025 Tenarky District Convention & Rose Show! The convention and rose show will be held at the Germantown Presbyterian Church, 2363 South Germantown Road, Germantown, TN 38138 on Friday, October 3, through Sunday, October 5,2025. This will be the first show hosted by the Memphis Rose Society since 2018, making it a long-overdue and much-anticipated event!
Show time is Saturday, October 4, from 1 to 4 pm. Set up will be done on Friday, October 3, if anyone is interested and available to help.
Event Highlights:
Friday Social Hour – October 3rd: Join us after show setup for a casual gathering to mingle and kick off the weekend with friends, old and new!
Banquet Speaker – Lisa Schaff: Lisa will present “Fresh Cuts: Roses for the Tenarky Garden” at our Saturday evening banquet.
Program by Camp Creek: “Landscaping with Native Plants” – a fantastic opportunity to learn how to incorporate native beauty into your garden.
Fundraiser: We’re hosting a fundraiser to help finance the event, with incredible prizes generously provided by our sponsors: American Rose Society, Jackson & Perkins, Heirloom Roses, and many more! Come and show your support and take home some wonderful prizes!
Sunday Garden Tours: For those staying through the weekend, we’re organizing some beautiful garden tours on Sunday afternoon, October 5th.
